As our Christmas celebrations come to a close for another year, the co-ordinators of the all Island Appeal to “Save those Stamps” remind us that the spirit of good will doesn’t need to come to an end just yet! “ If you’ve remembered to save your stamps, please do bring them to the various collecting points around the Island,” says Rosemary Clarke of the One World Centre. “ The representative from the Leprosy Mission is coming to the Island in February and we hope that we will be able to load up his car up with sacks of stamps again this year.”

Collecting points around the Island include churches and schools : please do just drop them into any of the following locations :
Willaston Methodist Church, Glen Maye Chapel, St Germans Cathedral, Dalby, Patrick, Foxdale, Marown and Laxey Churches, and The church on the harbour in Casteltown, Ashley Hill school, Jurby, SNHS Lower and Upper Schools, Ramsey Grammar, Peel Clothworkers, Castle Rushen High School, St John’s, Rushen, Cronk Y Berry, Kirk Michael, Ballacottier, Arbory, Ballaquayle Infant, and Ballaugh Primary Schools.

All collecting points are asked to bring their stash of stamps to St Johns by the end of January, to leave them either at the back of St Johns Church, or to drop them into the One World Centre. If you would like more information or if it is more convenient for you , you can post them directly to Rosemary Clarke; The One World Centre: Thie Garey Ny Cloie, Foxdale Road, St Johns,
Isle of Man, IM4 3AS. Telephone: 01624 800464
