Douglas-based solicitors Stuart Smalley & Co LLC won a fantastic 4G bundle in a Manx Telecom prize draw held to celebrate the launch of the Island’s first superfast 4G mobile network. The prize, valued at £2,800, includes four Nokia Lumia 635 4G handsets on Manx Telecom’s smartphone 600 tariff for 12 months – including 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 6GB of data.
Manx Telecom 4G delivers speeds up to seven times faster than those currently experienced with the company’s 3G service. 4G also provides improved mobile coverage indoors and in built-up areas. The superfast 4G service was launched on July 29 and the prize was presented on the same day. Amanda Dougherty, Office Manager at Stuart Smalley & Co LLC in St Georges Street, Douglas, commented: “It’s fantastic for us to win such a great prize. We’re already Manx Telecom customers and 4G will be of great benefit to the business. We have managers who regularly have to travel around the Island on business, and the superfast upload and download speeds provided by 4G will make it much easier for them to manage their diaries, review emails and download files, while away from the office.”
Voirrey Barron, Manx Telecom Marketing Communications Manager, presented the 4G prize bundle and added: “Many congratulations to everyone at Stuart Smalley & Co LLC, and to all of the businesses which entered the competition. We’re incredibly proud to have launched the first and currently only 4G network on the Island. We’re also on track to deliver 95% population coverage by the end of the summer, which means that businesses right across the Island can take advantage of the new superfast mobile broadband speeds available. 4G can create efficiencies and offers great flexibility for businesses in all sectors, and with our excellent range of tariff plans that now come with 4G data it’s fantastic value for money. For all those not lucky enough to win our prize draw, it’s quick and easy to start using the Island’s fastest mobile network. To find out if you need a new 4G handset, SIM card or tariff, there’s an easy to follow, step-by-step guide at www.manxtelecom.com/4g – just enter your mobile number and you’ll be informed of the next steps you need to take.
