Award-winning broadcaster Scott Mills from BBC Radio 1 will be making an exclusive appearance at the Tahiko nightclub in Douglas on Friday, 28th February.
The event, open to over 18s only, will take place from 10pm to 3am, with Scott performing from midnight onwards. With his own Radio 1 show every afternoon between 1pm and 4pm, and as a regular host of the Radio 1 Official Chart Show and midweek chart, guests can be sure to expect the best chart hits from his Tahiko set.
Scott joined Radio 1 in 1998 as the Early Breakfast Show host and shortly after was asked to cover for the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show. He has also hosted live events for Radio 1, including The Brit Awards and Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
The 2010 Sony Gold Winner of Music Radio Personality of the Year, Scott has picked up a Sony Gold and Bronze award two years running in the Interactive Show Category.
He is also a well-known face on our TV screens; for the past few years, Scott has presented the BBC3 coverage of Eurovision and has also presented for The National Lottery on BBC One, where he hosts the live studio show and draws. Scott has recently appeared on All Star Family Fortunes, Xtra Factor and Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.
Sefton Group Marketing Manager Nicola Wilkinson commented: ‘We are so excited to be able to welcome Scott to the Isle of Man later this month, and eager to see what he has in store for his set! Tickets are available now and, at only £10, guests can look forward to a fantastic night out and an exclusive celebrity performance, without breaking the bank.
‘We’re sure that this will be a brilliant event, and we look forward to seeing everyone there to give Scott a warm Tahiko welcome!’
Tickets are available from the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino Reception and River Island, Douglas (cash sales only).
