The Southern Postal Delivery Office will be in a new home from next week and will provide customers with an extended range of postal services.
From Tuesday 27th August, the office will move a short distance to new premises, still within the Ronaldsway Industrial Estate, Ballasalla. New signage will direct customers to the new office. The move will provide staff with a more spacious and ergonomic working environment with improved welfare facilities. At the same time, a new Customer Counter will offer an improved choice of services including sale of stamps, posting parcels and other mail, ReDirect and KeepSafe as well as the collection of mail.
Malcolm MacPherson, Managing Director of Mails, Isle of Man Post Office said: “The new delivery office is just a small step away from the old premises but it does allow us to make improvements for customers and employees alike and to look toward our long-term business needs. I would like to thank all those members of staff and contractors who have made this move possible and I’m delighted we will be moving in on schedule.”
The Southern Postal Delivery Office is open six days a week: Monday to Friday 07.30-15.30 and Saturdays 07.30-12.30pm. The telephone number is 698571.
