The Drug Advice Service & Helpline (DASH) were this week offered much needed support by their landlords. The service that provides confidential help to drug users and their families had, as part of their sustainability plan for the charity, been due to lose two counselling rooms this year. However, thanks to their landlord’s support of their work, Lowey & Co have given them free rent on those offices free for the next 12 months to help them get back on their feet.
Shelly Stanley, Director at DASH said ‘This is fantastic news and will allow us to continue to our work in familiar surroundings for our clients and allow us to concentrate on sustainability of the service. We have been so humbled by the support of local businesses investing in our work such as Pokerstars and Microgaming and the many individuals and now this, it has exceeded our expectation to see the value that our community have placed within our service.’
