KING WILLIAM’S COLLEGE ACHIEVES 38% A*/A at GCSE

| August 26, 2014 | 0 Comments

Students at King William’s College have again achieved a very strong set of results. The highlights were as follows

38% of all exams awarded A* or A grades.
 87% of all exams awarded A* – C grades.
8 students achieved straight A*/As or were within one grade of doing so.
  Anna Hall gained 11 A*s.

Joss Buchanan the Vice Principal commented:

“This was one of our largest ever year groups with 67 in all, and it is extremely gratifying to see the pupils doing so well right across the ability range. Over two thirds of the results this year were IGCSEs rather than GCSEs and this now provides a firm platform for the students to go on to study the IB in the Sixth Form”.
