Isle of Man News, 11 November 2009 – The site is the brainchild of Artist & Businessman Rob Edmanson-Harrison who is the MD of ArtworkX of Mann. ArtworkX of Mann is the trade name of Manx registered company AOM Enterprises Ltd. Who’s aim it is to promote the Isle of Man through the Arts.

Initially the site will launch with a small number of local Artists and will exhibit their work for sale to a global audience via a secure shopping portal on site.

Members of the general public both on & off island will have a unique opportunity of seeing Artwork representative of a cross section of Artists on the Island and in some case ‘ New never before seen Art’ by both established and up and coming Artists.

The aim is to start with this online portal and as the brand ArtworkX of Mann grows in notoriety worldwide to link in with actual Galleries in the all major Cities throughout UK, Ireland, Europe , USA and beyond. These contacts will be done with a view to bringing a portable Art Exhibit from the Isle of Man to these Galleries as a demonstration of the enormous Artistic talent currently held on the Island. Once in these locations the show will offer viewers and opportunity of purchasing the Art or instructing one or more of the Artists to undertake an Art Commission.
