Isle of Man based Retail and Brewing Group, Heron and Brearley is the latest company to join the list of commercial partners for the TT Races and Manx Grand Prix Festival. The Manx Group will receive a package of sponsor benefits across both events. Heron and Brearley, which was founded on the Isle of Man in 1898, will deploy their brewing brand, Okells, as well as manngo.im, the company’s online pub and event listings guide, on their sponsorship assets.
The Group will become the ‘Official Brewer’ of the Manx Grand Prix Festival and they also receive naming rights to a number of races – the Okells Brewery 500cc Classic GP Race, the Okells Brewery Formula Classic Race and the ‘Manngo.im Junior Manx Grand Prix Race. Heron and Brearley will also be the exclusive provider of the Official Beer Tent at the TT Grandstand and Paddock for both the TT Races and Manx Grand Prix Festival.
The Group has arranged for a new 9 metre by 18 metre tent which will be situated at the heart of the paddock. The ‘Coors Light’ tent, which opened on Saturday 28th May, will host a packed post-race schedule of entertainment during the TT including local bands, chat shows, an appearance by the Yamaha Classic Racing Team and a ‘meet the TT riders’ night hosted by Manx Radio’s Chris Williams. A number of Heron and Brearley’s pubs around the Island will also host TT and MGPF themed evenings during the race festivals.
Race fans will also get the chance to experience the thrill of racing with the bespoke Motorbike experience. The game features a fully converted real bike and a large 42”screen that immerses players and spectators in the game. The Batak speed reaction challenge will also be available for race goers to test their stamina, hand to eye co-ordination and enhanced peripheral vision. The speed reaction challenge and the bike simulator will both be in place from Monday to Friday of Race week.
As part of their sponsorship, Heron and Brearley will receive trackside branding for both Okells Brewery and Manngo.com across both the TT Races and Manx Grand Prix Festival. They will also benefit from branding on all the MGPF backdrops including the press conference, winners enclosure and podium backdrops, presence on the Official iomtt.com and mgpfestival.com websites and full page ads in the Manx Grand Prix and TT Races Official Programmes and Race Guides.
