Golf Day raises over £2,000 for Hospice
Lloyds TSB Corporate Banking recently held a golf day for their clients at Castletown Links, where £1020 was raised for Hospice Isle of Man. This amount was matched by Lloyds TSB to make a total of £2040 for the charity. The Lloyds TSB Golf Day is an annual fundraising event and has become a big hit amongst corporate clients.
Trevor Kirk, Senior Manager of Lloyds TSB Corporate commented: “It was a great day and everyone seemed to enjoy it. I’m pleased we were able to secure a substantial amount for the charity. Lloyds TSB staff chose Hospice Isle of Man as it is a charity close to our hearts. We hope the funds raised will help contribute significantly towards looking after the patients cared for by Hospice.”
The Venerable Brian Partington OBE, President of Hospice Isle of Man added: “We are pleased to have received such a generous donation. Hospice Isle of Man’s services are free to members of the public, so we are very grateful for contributions such as this. I would like to thank Trevor and his team for thinking of us as the chosen charity for the golf day event.”
