Blondie will be heading back to the Isle of Man for a very special show after the sell out appearance in 2011.
Blondie have come a long way from CBGB’s and the Bowery, having sold more than 40 million albums globally and repeatedly reaching the top of the charts over the course of four decades with such hits as “One Way Or Another,” “Heart Of Glass,” “Rapture” and “Maria.”
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees (2006) Blondie emerged from late ’70s new wave punk scene in New York City and defied easy categorization. They wrote great rock hooks and brilliant, ironic lyrics. Blondie have continued to be a powerhouse live act, attracting audiences literally around the world, becoming the most successful band to reunite from the class of ’77.
These new dates see Blondie hitting the road since the release of their ninth studio Panic Of Girls since 2011 and follows the announcement of an appearance at Isle Of Wight Festival and series of Forest dates.
