AWARDS GALORE ON STUNNING NIGHT FOR FRIENDS PROVIDENT INTERNATIONAL
Isle News, 14 October 2009 – Friends Provident International (FPI), one of the Isle of Man’s leading financial services companies, triumphed in nearly half of the categories during a night of stunning success at a prestigious industry awards ceremony.
The Castletown based company, headquarters for FPI’s operations in the Middle East, Far East and offshore UK, was the winner in 10 out of the 24 categories at the International Adviser (IA), International Life Awards 2009 Dinner held in London on 24 September.
The awards recognise excellence in product design, distribution and servicing intermediary customer bases across all the territories in which FPI has a presence.
The judging panel included a mix of leading life industry specialists, intermediaries from the various regions and the IA editorial team. Data used to inform the panels was sourced from highly-respected independent third parties, including AKG, Defaqto, Acuity, NMG and Boal & Co.
FPI’s 10 awards include the Best Overall Product Range for the Far East as well as the Best Single Premium Investment Products for both the Middle East and Far East.

- Best Online Proposition (Middle East)
- Best New Product (Middle East for Optus)
- Best Single Premium Investment Product (Middle East for Reserve)
- Best Single Premium Investment Product (Far East for Global Portfolio Bond)
- Best Overall Product Range (Far East)
