The countdown has begun for leading yachts, fiduciary and fund services specialist Abacus, to the start of the Global Superyacht Forum (‘GSF’) 2012, which they are proudly sponsoring.
The GSF is organised by Superyacht Events, in association with The Superyacht Group and is one of the largest and most prestigious meeting places for business leaders in the Superyacht industry. The event brings together experts in the industry to share their visions for the future. This year’s discussion theme is ‘future thinking and the next generation’.
The event takes place at the RAI in Amsterdam and runs from the 12 – 14 November and is operated in conjunction with METS, the world’s largest Marine Equipment Trade Show.
Abacus shall be represented at the event by Garry Crossan, Chief Executive Officer – Malta, Steven Hawkins, Business Development Manager and Barbara Jolly, Yacht and Aircraft Manager.
Garry Crossan said, ‘Abacus is thrilled to be sponsoring the GSF 2012 as it’s a superb platform to showcase the services provided by Abacus. The event is the largest of its kind in the Superyacht industry and is a great opportunity to expand Abacus’ business network and to meet new and potential clients to whom we can promote Abacus’ services.
Since the opening of our Malta office, our portfolio of services and offerings has grown. Equally, both the Isle of Man and Malta are rapidly gaining recognition for being well established and respected jurisdictions in the tax and Superyacht world.
We are committed to strengthening and expanding our yachting area and our commitment is reflected through our sponsorship of the GSF.’
Barbara Jolly said, ‘Abacus has the experience and expertise required to establish simple ownership structures and leasing for pleasure and commercial yachts which are aimed at owners and their representatives. Whilst at GSF we shall be promoting the services that we offer.
VAT registration for local and foreign companies, company formation and administration and Malta yacht leasing are just some of our services which we shall be promoting’.
