A Snowdrop Walk with A Snowdrop Tea

The coast road of Dalby is not known for its shelter, but tucked into hidden corners, the first signs of spring are already breaking through!

Dalby House is locally known for its spectacular swathes of snow drops and this year, by kind permission of Mrs Clarke, the wide range of varieties will be available for viewing with a guided tour by Michael Killey of Dalby. Some of the varieties of snowdrops will also be on sale in aid of St James Church and Restoration Fund and in support of their selected charities for this year: the Manx charity Nobles Hospital Breast Care Unit Appeal and the Manx overseas charity School for Uganda.

The tour starts at 2.30pm, on Sunday 16th of February. Please note that admission is available through prior booking only, by ringing Gilly on : 844031 to book; the cost is £6.50  £3.00 a child which includes afternoon tea by the fireside in St James schoolrooms. NB>Dalby House is on the main Road GlenMaye to Dalby village, and will be clearly signed, parking will be available at the house.
